Important notes, please don’t skip!

Very important: if you are sending me an invite to your site or creating a user for me, please do it at the same time you’re filling out the installation form. If you don’t fill out the form, I wont know which theme you’ve purchased and I have no way of contacting you to ask.

Installation includes: installing the purchased theme and the necessary plugins; initial setup of the header (this includes the menus, site title/tagline and adding a logo image, if you have one) and the sidebar “about” section. In the future, you’ll have to edit the header + sidebar “about” widget areas by yourself.

Installation does not include: making changes to the theme, setting up the custom pages (About, Contact, Link in Bio) with your content, adding new sections to pages or widget areas, setting up the newsletter or the “shop my favorites” block that some themes have.

Installation will be completed within 24-48 hours.

Create a user

If you don’t want to share your own log-in information, you can create a temporary user for me. After I’m done, you can go to Users > All Users and delete the user.

  1. Log in to your WordPress site > go to Users > Add New (from the left column)
  2. Use studiosaroya for Username
  3. Use for Email (or you can use your own email, if you have more than one – in this case, I will need the username + password as I will not receive an email to generate a password)
  4. Make sure “Send the new user an email about their account” is checked
  5. Select Administrator from the Role dropdown
  6. Click on “Add New User”

Follow the instructions here to send me an invite to (as an Administrator).

You need to have a plan that allows third-party themes and plugins to be uploaded, like the Creator or Entrepreneur plan. The cheaper plans don’t allow this.

Fill out the form

Click on the name of the theme you’ve purchased and you’ll be taken to a page where you can fill out the correct form for the installation.
